Intensive Portuguese Language Courses in Lisbon
The intensive courses are the best way to get into the Portuguese Language and Culture. These courses included cultural trips: tours in Lisbon, gastronomy and wine, museums, events and gardens.
The Intensive Portuguese Language Courses for Foreigners at the Language School of the Sardines, in Lisbon, take place throughout the year from January to December.
Each Intensive Portuguese Course corresponds to 1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. It is possible to do only 1 week of it, which will correspond to half of 1 level.
Intensive Portuguese courses of 40 hours have a duration of 2 weeks. classes run from Monday to Friday at two possible times: from 9 AM to 1 PM or from 2 PM to 6 PM.

Enrollment in the Intensive Portuguese Language Courses taught at our facilities in Lisbon should occur until the week before the course starts. If there is a place available, it is also possible to enroll in only half a level, corresponding to 20 hours of course.

Portuguese Courses in Lisbon Timetables
The duration of an Intensive Portuguese Language Course is of 40 hours and corresponds to 1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. If the enrollment is only for 20, 1 week, only the equivalent of half a level will be taught.
40 hours correspond to 2 weeks of classes, correspond to 2 weeks of classes, with classes on Portuguese national holidays, and 20 hours correspond to 1 week of classes.
Intensive Portuguese courses have 2 possible schedule.
From Mondays until Fridays, 4 hours/day, two weeks:
- 9 am - 1 pm (40 hours)
- 2 pm - 6 pm (40 hours)

The Language School of Sardines chooses to follow the new technologies and pedagogical tendencies. As the groups have a maximum of 6 students, it becomes easier and more frequent to interact with colleagues and teachers, this way allowing more communication in Portuguese.
During lessons, computer resources, interactive whiteboard, PowerPoint presentations, videos and audios are used to make the whole process of learning the Portuguese language dynamic and fun. The teacher becomes the moderator of the lesson, giving the students the possibility to participate frequently, explaining the Portuguese grammar and correcting whenever necessary.
